What are the components of Siemens IP-LXM24Z EDI module?
The EDI membrane block removes ions from water through the built-in ion exchange resin. Its application is as follows: (Na+ represents cations and C1- represents anions)
Due to the limitation of the filling capacity of the ion exchange resin in the EDI membrane block, the ion exchange resin will gradually become saturated after a period of use, so the ion exchange resin must be regenerated before it can continue to be used
The EDI membrane block is composed of several concentrated water chambers and fresh water chambers.
Pure water chamber---the working interlayer filled with mixed resin between the anion and cation exchange membranes to make pure water is called the pure water chamber
Concentrated water chamber---the working interlayer composed of anion and cation exchange membranes between the two pure water chambers is called the concentrated water chamber
Electrode plate---the conductive plate used to generate an electric field during the operation of the membrane block is called the electrode plate. It is usually divided into positive and negative electrodes, located at both ends of the membrane block.
